Essential RE: Origins and Destiny explores religious responses to questions of human origins and destiny. It provides classroom resources and ideas to support students in deepening their learning and developing their own understanding of the world, through examining: the historical context of the origins of Islam; Orthodox Jewish ways of reading texts of origin in the Torah; case studies on environmental issues from Christian, Hindu and Muslim sources; and how and why Christians read and interpret the Book of Revelation in different ways.
